Empowering Neurodiverse Minds
Dr Hossein Rostamipour is a Consultant Psychiatrist, working in South
London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He also works as a
Visiting Consultant in Priory Mental Health Hospital in Roehampton
and at the award-winning Brain Health Clinic of the Institute of
Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London.
During his work in different settings including NHS and private
practice, Dr Rostamipour has attended to many patients who were
suffering from undiagnosed ADHD and a variety of comorbid serious
mental health problems, as well as comorbid physical health issues.
Being able to help these individuals to have a fresh but more accurate
diagnosis based on root cause of their symptoms and their issues and
support them to progress towards a positive turning point in their lives
as well as their loved ones, have made him more passionate and
determined than ever to promote awareness of and help those with
ADHD to help to shape the view about definition of neurodiversity in a
better view way.
Dr Rostamipour has completed extra training in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology which has helped him to further understand the different
and often subtle presentations of ADHD in women and adopt a more
nuanced and individual approach to the treatment of ADHD in women.
