Paediatrics at The London Diagnostic Centre: Led by Dr Dalbir Sohi
Under the direction of Dr. Dalbir Sohi, a well-known consultant paediatrician and child allergy specialist with more than 20 years of experience in London, we provide outstanding paediatric care. Food allergies, eczema, asthma, hay fever, reflux, and colic are just a few of the paediatric allergies that Dr. Sohi is known for treating. She currently serves as the clinical lead for University College London Hospital’s (UCLH) Children and Adolescent Allergy Service.
Dr Sohi’s impressive academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in immunology and medical microbiology from Imperial College, a medical degree from the University of Glasgow, and a Master’s in clinical paediatrics from University College London. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and has held senior leadership roles, including clinical director for paediatrics and neonates at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Sohi is a passionate educator, serving as an examiner for the RCPCH and a medical director for the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Group. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and held board positions, including with the Department of Health’s Allergy National Clinical Pathways initiative.

General Paediatric Clinic
Our consultant paediatricians provide expert advice on conditions affecting children and adolescents, including abdominal pain, persistent cough, feeding difficulties, colic, and more. No GP referral is required—you can visit us directly.
We also offer Skin Prick Testing for Allergies, which helps diagnose immediate allergic reactions (IgE-mediated allergies) to a variety of allergens, including:

Children who attend with symptoms associated with airway, skin and food allergies, may be referred to our Paediatric Allergy Consultant for further care, as clinically appropriate. Please note that we do not offer food challenges as part of this clinic.
- Night-time bedwetting (Enuresis)
- Recurring Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
- Issues related to puberty like:
- Menorrhagia - menstrual bleeding that is very heavy or lasts more than 7 days.
- Amenorrhoea - the absence of menstruation, often defined as missing one or more menstrual periods. Primary amenorrhea refers to the absence of menstruation in someone who has not had a period by age 15.
- Headaches
- We treat non-urgent childhood or adolescent issues. Our service is from birth up to and including 16 years and on a case by case basis for those who are 17 years of age.
