Mr. David Toy is a physical medicine healthcare professional consulting across multiple musculoskeletal domains within both public and private sectors, including general practice and public-private partnerships. He has a rehabilitation medicine background who now incorporates clinical assessments and investigations with ultrasound diagnosis and guided injections. His focused drive is to educate patients and facilitate patient-centred information-based choices, which enable life enhancing self-managed healthcare decisions. Mr. Toy has an additional motivation for providing novel ultrasound guided interventions including hyaluronate and platelet-rich plasma injections for the activity enhancement of active individuals.
Dr Philip Shorvon is a Consultant Radiologist. He qualified in Medicine in 1976 and gained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1979. After training in Cardiology and Gastroenterology , he began training in Radiology in 1981, spent a year in Canada as a fellow at McMaster University and gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1986. He was appointed to a post as a Consultant Radiologist in London in 1987 and remains in that post.
He has considerable clinical experience and a wide interest in ultrasound and wrote the first paper in the UK about Endoscopic Ultrasound . He has always been keen to emphasize that medicine should be centred on patients needs and is passionate about patient safety. His role in the LDC is to oversea the clinical governance aspects of the service.
Dr Prem Ruben Jayaram currently works as a Consultant Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal disorders. After graduating in Medicine in 2012 from the University of Glasgow, he received training in Radiology at the pioneering Norwich Radiology Academy, where he concurrently gained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and completed a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Warwick by 2019. He embarked on a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology in Vancouver and returned with cutting edge techniques in dual energy CT, tumour ablation, and cement augmentation.
He is highly skilled in all aspects of general and musculoskeletal radiology, including x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans, and musculoskeletal image guided interventional procedures. Through it all, he firmly believes in patient centred care and that all patients should receive the very best advice and treatment available, tailored to their individual needs.
Sanjay is currently employed as a diagnostic radiographer at large teaching hospital in London. He is a highly experienced radiographer having worked in this profession for over a decade. He has experience in CT,MRI, theatres, interventional and general radiography. Sanjay is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and improving lives.
